Troy Murphy, who was stuck in a terrible situation, had to chose to play for either the Boston Celtics or Miami Heat. Murphy ultimately chose to come play at the Gahden. He is going to help the C's front line and provide rebounding and shot making ability. My guess is he will come off the bench with Krstic being a seven-footer and playing well in his first few games as a Celtic.
I really like the dead-line moves by the C's, solidifying the back up small forward spot with a young and talented Green, and adding two big men in Krstic and Murphy. I think Murphy will fit in well here in Boston. It will take him a little while to understand the complex defense that the Celtics run, but give it time. The Celtics are poised for a championship run. Sorry Miami.
